HFCI Director David Schneider graduated from The University of Vermont in 1980  with an Associate in Science Degree in Radiologic Technology  (Previously having earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at UVM  in 1977) He started work in North America  as a radiation therapist at The Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy (1980-1982, 1983-1985) in Boston. He also worked at: New York University Medical Center (1982-1983) Mount Sinai Medical Center (1985-1989) Lenox Hill Hospital (1989-1997) and New York Radiation Associates (1991-1997). During David's work in America he has occupied Technical Director positions, Clinical Instructor postions and Supervisory positions in Radiation Oncology departments.  Since May 2010 David Schneider has been working in New York as Technical Operations Manager for Radiation Oncology for NYU Medical Center and Cancer Institute.
In Asia through his company HFCI, Ltd. and others he has promoted the modernization in the field of radiation therapy, consulted on choice of high-tech equipment in radiology, marketed medical professionals, and lectured on new treatment technologies in Southeast Asia. He is a registered radiation therapist through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Therapy) and  a registered therapeutic radiographer through the Radiographers Board, Hong Kong. He travels lecturing on the technical aspects of radiation oncology equipment and has designed vendor supported trainings for radiation therapists in developing countries.  Through HFCI David Schneider performs onsite evaluations for radiation oncology departments for staff improvement, patient flow issues and time management. Mr. Schneider is also interested in clinical work in Asia, North and South America.
